French Quarter History & Cocktail Tour

History with cocktails? Learning has never been so much fun!

Join us for history…New Orleans style!

Delve into the founding of our unique city and the colorful characters and events that helped to define it on this New Orleans Secrets tour. We discuss the disastrous fires that resulted in the current architecture of the French Quarter, the history of the first American cocktail, and other notable New Orleans libations, and go into four historic restaurants and bars that each have their own story to tell. This is not a drunken pub crawl, but rather a true New Orleans history and cocktail experience. It’s like history…over happy hour!

Drinks are not included with the tour price, and no guest is obligated to buy drinks at any stop. We also encourage sharing! Please note that no food is available during the tour. This walking tour covers about one mile and will be held rain or shine, so wear comfortable shoes for walking on uneven sidewalks and bring proper gear for the weather. At least two people are needed to run this tour (may be booked separately).
